Directions

• From M6 southbound

  • Leave the M6 at junction 40 signposted Penrith and follow signs for Appleby (A66). Turn off at the Appleby junction. Turn right at the T junction following signs for Long Marton & Dufton. Follow this road for just under a mile. The road bends around to the right and shortly afterwards you will pass a large farm on your righthand side called Clickham Farm. 400 metres further on you will see on your righthand side a black and white signpost and a large red sign for the New Inn. Turn right here and carry on down the farm track for approximately one mile. High Moor Cottage is at the end of the track on the lefthand side.

• From M6 northbound

  • Leave the M6 at junction 38. At the roundabout, take the first exit signposted Appleby (A66). Follow the road through Appleby town centre, over a bridge to a T junction and turn left. As you pass the river and then the school on your left, the road forks. Bear right underneath the A66 and continue on for about a mile. The road bends to the right and shortly afterwards you will pass a large farm on your right (Clickham Farm). 400 metres further on you will see a black and white signpost on the right and a large red sign for the New Inn. Turn right here and carry on down the farm track for approximately one mile. At the end of the track, turn left to High Moor Cottage.

• From A66 northbound

  • Leave the A66 at the Appleby junction and follow the road into Appleby. Stay on this road and travel through the town. You will pass the river on your left and then the school. Just after the school, the road forks. Take the right fork underneath the A66 and continue on for just under a mile. The road bends around to the right and shortly afterwards you will pass a large farm on your righthand side called Clickham Farm. 400 metres further on you will see on your right handside a black and white signpost and a large red sign for the New Inn. Turn right here and carry on down the farm track for approximately one mile. High Moor Cottage is at the end of the track on the lefthand side.
